A stolen 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE was successfully intercepted shortly before it could be shipped abroad in a container.
The DIGITPOL Stolen Vehicle Unit and Politie LX intervened before the vehicle could be loaded for export. With the rapid operational support of BRL for Transport and its Ford recovery vehicle, the Mercedes was secured and removed from the location.
The intervention prevented the stolen vehicle from leaving the country and potentially entering an international vehicle trafficking route.
